Every broker in NC must complete Continuing Education each year in order to keep their license Active. This is done by completing the NCREC Update course and one Elective.
Full brokers should take General Update and 1 Elective.
Brokers-in-Charge should take Broker-in-Charge Update and 1 Elective.
NOTE: You cannot receive Elective credit for taking both Update courses.

Yes, every Elective is 4-hours and satisfies the NCREC Elective requirement.

Yes! You can bank up to 8 hours of elective credit with the NCREC. So if you see a class that you like, but you have already satisfied your requirement, you can take it this year and it will count for next year’s NCREC’s Elective requirement.

Yes! You will receive from us a certificate for the 4-hour NCREC CE credit, and then you will report to your Board of Realtors your completion of this class, who will then report your completion to NAR.

Yes, all classes are delivered LIVE through ZOOM. Bring lunch, get comfortable, and enjoy a great class from your couch!
IMPORTANT
Do NOT take BOTH Update courses.
Elective credit cannot be given for an Update class.
Take 1 Update and 1 Elective.
